Narcotext

Is a program designed for anesthesiology. It has the ability to register the patient's information, the surgeon's and the laboratory exam's data, records the beginning and the end of the anesthesia and the surgical procedures. It registers the vital signs as frequently as desired by the physician. It also registers the administered trans-operatory IV fluids and many other numerous details.
Ideally the program is to be used on a notebook, easily transported into the operating room. The initial data such as patient identification, surgeon's name, surgical procedure and type of anesthesia can be inserted the day before the procedure or a few minutes before the beginning of the anesthesia.
Narcotext has two agendas: one Agenda to schedule the anesthesias and a second one, called Personal Agenda, which allows the physician to create a calendar of events such as grand rounds, meetings, special functions and the like for future events. The Personal Agenda will notify the physician two days prior to any upcoming event to provide adequate advance notice as a reminder to the physician of these previously scheduled events.
With this software you may obtain several types of reports: anesthesias, list of surgeons that solicit your skills, list of hospitals and type of insurance you work the most, a general statistics adding the rate of males and females, adults and children, patient's age - all of them represented on several self explanatory graphics. You may also obtain a particular pathology or type of surgery and determine how many you have performed in a specific period.
